We are aware of the problems that stress can cause for dogs and people and therefore design our dog training classes to be as stress-free as possible. All our dog training classes are based on modern, tried and tested reward-based methods. No choke-chains or harsh handling will be permitted. Class sizes are kept small (typically 6 dogs, or 4 dogs per agility class) and are on a first come, first served basis. Owners are welcome to observe a class (without their dog) before deciding whether they would like to book onto a course, also feel free to read what our clients have to say. Instructors are knowledgeable and experienced having undertaken numerous courses, and ICC has trained well over 2000 dogs.
Debbie, Lorraine, Gemma, Sarah, Lucy and Naomi are members of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, Melissa of COAPE Association of Pet Behaviourists and Trainers (CAPBT) - Affiliate Member 2009 - 2010, Susannah is a provisional member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC), and the Hougham and Spilsby branches of ICC also have Kennel Club listed status. We are also very proud of the number of Nationally and Internationally recognised guest speakers and trainers who have visited ICC - we are also running new Workshops for 2011. The Team includes experienced dog trainers, teachers, behaviourists and vets.
We also offer home boarding, the perfect alternative to dog kennels and dog hotels, for a stress-free holiday for your dogs too!
Arena Dog Displays - also available either with the ICC Team (available locally) or Christina Oxtoby and her dogs (available nationally.)
