22nd May 2010 - Huge congratulations to Trace with Nanook, her Alaskan Malamute for passing his assessment to become a PAT dog (Pets as Therapy.) He will be visiting servicemen and women who are injured and are currently at Selly Oak Hospital which I'm sure will be a huge blessing to both them and him. (Also, because he's so huge he has the perfect macho image for them! He did agility when he was younger and really couldn't see the point in jumping the jumps when running through the middle of them and sending them flying worked just as well! I'm sure cuddling people will suit him perfectly though.)

15th May 2010 - Very well done to Wendy with Mattie who won the jumping and was second in the agility at Vegas K.C. agility on Sunday. She also won two Starters Plus classes at Agility Nuts the week before - great stuff all round! :)

4-5th July 2009 - Well done to Christina's Asaph for coming 3rd and Christina's Ruach for coming 4th in Novice Heelwork at Newark this weekend - lovely work from both of them.

21st June 2009 - Congratulations to Wendy and Mattie with another win in agility at the Agilitynuts competition today - she's doing some lovely work for you, well done!

20th June 2009 - Well done to Christina's Eze for coming 3rd in Intermediate Freestyle at 'Paws in the Park' today meaning that he has enough points to become an Advanced Freestyle dog. He also has an excellence award from his win in Scotland making him Legacy's Eze Ezekiel HTM N. Ex., FS I. Ex.

6th-7th June 2009 - What a wonderful weekend for Christina's dogs! We were all up in Fife in Scotland for the weekend and came home with a 6th place for Ruach (I normally only mention 3rd and above but I was delighted with him and it was the first time that he really put all of his effort into working properly in the ring.) Asaph came back with a 2nd in Novice Heelwork meaning that she now has enough points to move up into Intermediate Heelwork. Eze came home with a 2nd in Intermediate Heelwork and a 2nd and a win in Intermediate Freestyle meaning that he only has a few more points to get before being in Advanced Freestyle.

12th April 2009 - Well done Wendy and Mattie for a wonderful win at Agilitynuts elementary jumping today - a lovely start to your agility career and well deserved after all of your hard work to work through her various issues. 'Matilda Frantic Ferret' did you proud!

10th April 2009 - Well done Debbie and Diesel for a wonderful win at Competitive Obedience working Beginners today. One more win and you'll be Novice and A! He always had style and is now starting to show it! Fantastic news!

28th March 2009 - What a great day! I (Christina) went to a Heelwork-to-Music competition and came first and second in Novice Heelwork and second in Novice Freestyle. Eze won the Novice Heelwork class and Asaph came second in that class (not bad for age 10!) Ru also did his first proper round in competition and although he still has a lot to learn I was very pleased with how he worked - there's a lot of potential to work with! Later in the afternoon I knew that Eze and I were very unlikely to win the Novice Freestyle class because we were up against one of the UK's top handlers (who won Crufts a few years ago) but we came second with a very high score and I was delighted with him. He has now qualified into Intermediate in both Heelwork and Freestyle and because he has won both classes as part of his qualification he also has an excellence award for both making him Legacy's Eze Ezekiel HTM N. Ex., FS N. Ex.

1st March 2009 - Well done to Christina for passing her KC HTM and Freestyle judging exam.

11th January 2009 - Well done to my (Christina's) Asaph! She has won the Veteran Star Trophy in HTM / Freestyle and came 3rd in Novice HTM. (This trophy was very kindly donated by Roger and Margaret Reed in loving memory of their elderly Sheltie, Baggins who started competing as a veteran and really enjoyed his time in the ring.) At age 10, I only entered Asaph for some fun and so she didn't feel left out, and as she can sometimes have rather different ideas in the ring to me (the last time she was in the ring 3 years ago she used to tell me off from time to time for not following her lead,) I wasn't too sure quite what to expect! She was a STAR and I was so proud of her. She walked into the ring as if she owned it and never took her eyes off me, happily following what I asked her to do. She loved her audience and having special time just with me and I was so proud of my girl. Since then she has been very full of herself for a couple of months afterwards!

14th December - 2008 - Well done Gail and Kez again! They received a merit and a distinction in their Heelwork-to-Music progress awards today, a wonderful result.

22nd November - 2008 - Well done Gail! What a day for you and Kez - winning both Starters Freestyle and Novice Heelwork-to-Music. I know how hard you've both worked all the way through this year so congratulations on two very well deserved wins! Well done also to my (Christina's) Eze for coming second at Novice Heelwork-to-Music. I was delighted with him, especially because with moving house we haven't done any proper work on this for a very long time and due to various last minute changes the first time all the way through the routine was in the ring!

15th November - 2008 - What a lovely day! We had our Christmas Party (yes, I know it was a little early!) and a really great time was had by all. Well done to all of the winners but an even bigger well done to those of you who had the courage to have a go at things that you never thought you'd do - inparticular the agility. A wonderful, supportive atmosphere really helped everyone who had a go for the first time.

27th September - 2008 - We have some wonderful dogs and owners! Really well done to everyone who passed their Kennel Club Good Citizen Tests from our Hougham classes today. Really well done to each of you. Thank you again to Carol for another marathon day of examining!

13th-14th September - 2008 - Well, she's moved up and is STILL having wonderful results! Congratulations to Penny and Secret for coming second in Intermediate Freestyle, also for winning Starters Musical Dressage with Tally. Also, brilliant news from Nicci and Leo who won Starters Heelwork - FANTASTIC!

6th-7th September - 2008 - I was SO happy - what a wonderful weekend for ICC! Nicci and Leo won Starters Freetyle with Anne and Willow coming second but only after a tie for first place I always knew that Nicci would get there but I was so delighted for Anne who has worked so hard with Willow to overcome her fears of everyday life (she was a very scared rescue dog) so to then do so well in competition was amazing! Also, more good news - Gail and Kez-zz came third in Starters Freestyle and Penny and Secret won the Pauline Hewson Memorial Trophy for the highest scoring BSD - WOW, was I pleased! (I think people were a little suprised with just how much jumping and cheering I did today!)

13th July - 2008 - Well done to Secret for winning Novice Freestyle (oh yes, and Penny of course!) She is now FS N Ex (for those of you not into Heelwork-to-Music this is good news and something Penny has worked very hard for!) Well done also for getting a 3rd in Novice Heelwork-to-Music with Tally.

21st-22nd June - 2008 - WELL DONE to Nicci with Leo who won Starters Heelwork-to-Music and came 2nd in Starters Freestyle. 8th May - 2008 - Thank you to Penny and her girls and Anne and Willow for helping Eze and I perform for the RSPCA entertainment fund raising evening. Particularly well done to Willow who coped so well after having been a very scared little rescue dog from those very kennels when Anne first rescued her. They all did you proud and I've had a lovely letter of thanks from the organisers.
