Sabrina

Sabrina – Friend of ICC

Starting from the age of about 6 Sabrina continuously asked her parents for a puppy (it seemed easier than a brother or sister to play with!) Every time she was told no and over the years she became even more determined to have her own dog. This then turned into a great interest in learning about their behaviour. She asked her friends if she could train their dogs and found it hugely rewarding, especially a 2 year old Black Labrador that to this day she thanks for teaching her patience, understanding, and a little reward goes a long way in the canine world. After she finally got her own dog (only 13 years later!) she has found that Gypsy (her rescue German Shepherd) was worth the wait. She has became ever more content with the love and partnership that a dog can bring and she continues to want to learn more and teach people that a little love really does go a long way. She lives with her baby daughter Sky and her rescue German Shepherd girls Gypsy and Kizzie.
