Date / Venue TBC - 101 (well, nearly!) Games to play with your dog / class of dogs. With Christina Oxtoby - This day is designed to give you ideas of activities to do with your dog at home and also ideas (for other dog trainers) of games to play in classes. Includes nosework games, home-made agility ideas, obedience ideas, tricks and fun! Great outdoor fun for summer and indoor activities for winter. Handler places are limited and dogs will work in 2 groups. NOTE - They will need to be happy to rest in the car (visible from the hall) or a crate inside in-between working.

Date TBC - ICC Dog Activity Holiday - This is something that we're very excited to be offering and are really looking forward to! The holiday will be held at the beautiful, rural venue of ICC Spilsby (Northcote Heavy Horse Centre.) The idea is that dogs and owners have a fun time, learning new things and making new dog and human friends. Anyone coming by themselves will be made most welcome and everyone will be put into a small group overseen by a member of the ICC Team to make sure that everyone feels welcomed and at home. Families are also very welcome and we just ask that children are kept under control around all of the dogs and other animals. There are many activities and everyone will be given a short taste of each one. This holiday includes -
Agility - From complete beginner to competition standard (higher competition standard dogs will not be instructed but will be given practice courses to run.)
Heelwork-to-Music / Freestyle - Instructed from complete beginner to more advanced competition standard.
Fun nosework - Tuna trails and hunt the handler!
Rally Obedience - This will be introduced at several levels depending upon the experience of each dog and handler team.
Fly-ball - Instructed from complete beginner to full course runs.
Barrel Racing - An introduction to this new and fun sport to the UK.
Competitive Obedience - Instructed from complete beginner to novice competition standard.
Beach walk - A 30 minute drive away is one of the most beautiful beach walks I've been on - quiet, dog friendly and unspoilt. We'll be going there as a group and then owners can decide to either walk together or separately - there's plenty of room for everyone!
BBQ - Included in the price of the holiday is a BBQ on the Saturday evening. Also included in the price is welcome tea and cake on the Friday evening. Guests are then welcome to cater for themselves or book in for meals in our on-site coffee shop.
Camping - Camping is included in the price of the holiday. We have good, on-site loos and water taps, and flat, level fields for camping. We don't have showers or electric hook-ups. If you'd like to join us for the holiday but not to camp we can put you in touch with other local B&Bs - just ask!
Would you like to join us? All we ask is that you are dog and people friendly and that your dog is able to cope with people and dogs. If they are not entirely happy around dogs or people please let us know so that we are able to advise you as to whether this is the right holiday for them. (Aggressive dogs will not cope and should not attend.)
Cost - This is amazing value at £98 per handler place. We expect places to go fast so please book early! (Extra dogs are free of charge as long as only one person has a handler place, extra tents / caravans are £10, extra non-handling adults are £10 and extra non-handling children under 12 are £8.)

Date / Venue TBC - Calm, Collected and Under Control (how to deal with dogs that are not yet!) with Christina Oxtoby - Some dogs are calm, relaxed, confident, eager to please, responsive, have good manners and are easy to live with, and some dogs are... well, not yet! How do we deal with dogs that jump all over people, run off and don't come back, leap all over the place on the lead, bark a lot or don't listen to a word their owners say? This day is designed to show you how to understand why dogs do what they do and how to steer them towards doing what we'd like them to do - without us having to nag, and ending up with a better relationship with our dogs by the end of it! As Head of Training and Behaviour for ICC Christina has gained many years of experience of dealing with many dogs that are 'all over the place'. Over the years she has gained an understanding of how to turn these dogs around, however the one thing that she often finds she does not have enough time to do in a training session is to help owners to take a step back and look at their entire relationship with their dog. This day will include both theory and practical training. (If you have a dog that you think would be appropriate for us to work with please contact Christina - they will need to be happy to stay in the car or in a crate for much of the day - we do include a lot of breaks for you to be able to see to your dog though.)

Date / Venue TBC - Beginner HTM / Freestyle Training with Christina Oxtoby. Christina is a Heelwork-to-Music (HTM) and Freestyle Judge and currently competes at Advanced level in Freestyle and Heelwork. She also has an Honours Degree in Music and works full time teaching music and training dogs (she is head of training and behaviour for ICC.) This training evening is ideal for dogs that have a good level of basic training and are able to work with other dogs around who either have no experience in HTM moves (tricks) or who have some basic moves and wish to learn more. It will focus on teaching a toolkit of different moves. Come prepared to learn, laugh and have fun with your dog.

Date / Venue TBC - HTM / Freestyle Follow-on Training Day with Christina Oxtoby. Christina is a Heelwork-to-Music (HTM) and Freestyle Judge and currently competes at Advanced level in Freestyle and Heelwork. She also has an Honours Degree in Music and works full time teaching music and training dogs (she is head of training and behaviour for ICC.) This training day is a follow-on for those who have done some Freestyle already (from those just having done a workshop up to those about to start competing.) We will be looking at more advanced moves, and how to link moves. There will also be time to work individually with Christina so feel free to come with questions or problems (if you are starting to put a routine together please bring your music, a list of your dog's moves and any words (with double spacing between each line) to the music with you.) Come prepared to learn, laugh and have fun with your dog. (We also recommend our Motivating the Competition Dog training day to go with this day.)

Date / Venue TBC - Motivating the Competition Dog, (get a stylish, willing, happy and co-operative dog in competition as well as in training. Covering Obedience, HTM, Agility and also useful for other disciplines. With Christina Oxtoby
