Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme (lev 2-4)

This course is designed as a follow-on course for pet dogs. Copies of the syllabus can be seen through the links below. In addition classes will include fun and games, and cover an introduction to Agility, Competitive Obedience, Heelwork-to-Music and Fly-ball. These will also recognise the social side of dog training (for both owners and dogs) and will be relaxed in format giving time for games as a part of training. Once dogs are at the required standard they will be offered the opportunity to be tested by an outside examiner (this will cost a small amount extra) to pass the nationally recognised standards of bronze, silver or gold. Although owners will book a block of 6 lessons the classes will be repeatable with dogs working at higher levels.
