Social Walks
A supervised walk through the Lincolnshire countryside with other dogs and owners, usually lasting between 1 and 2 hours. A great way to socialise your dog. These walks are usually on Saturday mornings at 10am. or Saturday afternoons at 2pm. running once a month. Due to the number of dogs that wish to take part in these social walks and the fact that we need to have the correct mix of personalities, dogs are organised into walking groups with a team leader (a member of our support team.) We currently have several different walks and we will arrange dogs into groups that we think will get on well together.
We also run puppy walks (with a few well socialised adult dogs to teach the pups good manners!) Details will be given out through our puppy classes. Dogs under approx. 6 months of age are welcome to join us - please contact us for more details. (These walks will be shorter so that puppies joints are not over used.)
If your dog has poor social skills with other dogs we would usually recommend the Dog-to-Dog Class as a good starting point for mixing them with other dogs in a safe and controlled way.
All Social Walks are overseen by Debbie. If you wish to join us on our Social Walks please E-mail her at debbie@iccdogtraining.co.uk or phone our centre (01400 230965) to be put into a walking group. If your dog is not already known to I.C.C. you will be offered a free assessment to ensure that your dog ends up in the right group.
COST - £3 per walk if you sign up for 6 months of walks meeting once a month or £2:50 per walk if you sign up for 12 months.
